The Rue Stone Novella…is on the way

Now I know I said I would be publishing my novella The Rue Stone a couple of weeks ago, but…I decided to enter a competition for new novels, and this coincided with this date. So I entered The Little Servant (Book 1) – The Wait’s Son into Agora’s Lost The Plot competition…but I’ve had the email to say that I didn’t get short-listed on this occasion :-(

Consequently The Rue Stone has got put back a little, but trust me, it’s well on the way to being complete and shouldn’t be too much longer. There are a few publishing houses asking for submissions at the minute, and The Rue Stone would fit their criteria, so I’m also toying with the idea of submitting it the traditional way, eek! I’ll keep you posted.

I am a self-published writer of mixed genre short works, I have a fantasy novella out now, The Rue Stone is book 1 of 3 of The Dark Stranger series. I am also working on my first novel. This is set in the 13th century, in Lincoln, and is the story of Benedict, a young boy who arrives at Lincoln castle with a burning ambition to become the most famous minstrel of his age.
